Base Size According to Shirt Size
A 3.7 meter woven wrap is called a size 4.
This size is most often the base size for those wearing XS or S t-shirts. If wrapping a toddler, you may want to size up to a size 5.
You don’t have to be petite to enjoy this size. If you find yourself preferring shorter carries that are still to long to use a shorty, this may be perfect for you.
A 4.2 meter woven wrap is called a size 5.
This size is often base for those wearing S or M t-shirts. If you wear size M and are wrapping a toddler, you may want to size up to a size 6.

A 5.2 meter woven is called a size 7. This is the LARGE full length wrap.
This size is often base for those wearing XL or 2X t-shirt size and will be perfect for all of the full length wrap carries. It can also be used by someone who normally uses a size 6 but wants more room for tandem babywearing, or doing extra long carries.
A 5.7 meter woven is called a size 8. This is the XL full length wrap.
It varies greatly but this size is often base for those wearing 2X or 3X t-shirts or for moms who wear dress size 22US/24UK or larger.
For reference, most popular brands of stretchy wrap are one-size-fits-all, and that size is around 5.5 meters, between a size 7 and size 8.
A 6.2 meter wrap is available in some of the wrap brands, and is a great option for parents who find a size 8 to be not quite enough.
